The universe is about characters from Dog Man, with their roles swapped. For example, Petey died instead of his mom. His mom, who is named Sydney Lawson, then became evil, and took the role of original Petey from the Dog Man comics.
"But, Spencer, petey's mom's name is grace not Sydney you're such a fake fan [finger pointing up emoji] [nerd emoji]-" I KNOW!!!!! I KNOW. It's quite hard to rewrite an entire book and a half because a character's name was confirmed in a singular panel where you have to really look to see it. Now take this apple juice and sit down and watch your cartoons because everyone who is saying this genuinely seem like they're 8 years old
Anyways. Sydney tried cloning herself, but it backfired, causing her to have a clone daughter named Li'l Sydney! In Book 2, Li'l Sydney is grown up and named Sid.
8/24/24 update: I'm currently trying to rewrite th whole DP AU, so these recaps are a bit outdated and only for the first wave of books!

Present is, as you can probably guess, the first book in the DP series. It takes place in May 2016, and around book 7 in the Dog Man series. Sydney has just been pardoned from jail, and she's expecting life to finally go on smoothly from now on. But that is, obviously, not the case
She reunited with her incredibly bad mom and ex husband, she finally has to remember how she failed as a mother once before, Li'l Sydney has an imaginary friend that's dead, and someone falls off a cliff and dies. They're brought back to life thought so it's finee
Either way, this is technically just your average Dog Man story
I am.. well, not that proud of this book, to say the least. I wish I had written some things way differently, and I am not that proud of the end product. Then again- it's pretty good for a teenager who had no prior writing experience.
But, I am fortunately in the process of rewriting it! I have come very far and I am pleased with how I am able to write now ^_^

This is one of the two short stories I made! The setting takes place about 6 months after the first book, around the time frame for the epilogue. It's a holiday/winter themed story, and I personally really like it. It could use some things updated, but all in all, I really like it!

The second book in the series! It takes place around November 2023. Li'l Sydney is grown up(-ish) and they're now Sid Lawson ^_^. mascot and Peter are gay in this book.... gay people. augh /silly
The book has the same amount of chapters as Book One, but is much longer in length. I unfortunately dont know what to really put as the description at the moment, so i will later!
